Cyberpunk 2077 release date LEAK: Great news for fans as big PS4, Xbox One hint dropped | Gaming | Entertainment

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming PS4 and Xbox One games.

The latest title from Witcher 3 makers CD Projekt RED has dazzled gamers whenever it’s been showcased with its stunning graphics and impressive open world.

The quality of the visuals shown off had sparked fears that Cyberpunk 2077 might end up becoming a next-gen title instead of a PS4 and Xbox One game.

But it looks like fans could be getting Cyberpunk 2077 sooner than they thought.

As revealed in a post on Reddit, it could have been revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out in 2019.

Territory Studio – who worked on the logo for the game – said Cyberpunk 2077 has a “2019 release” in a now deleted post.

Describing Cyberpunk 2077, the post said: “An ambitious open-world game, Territory came on board Cyberpunk 2077 to support brand and marketing with a logo ident and graphics package.

“Working closely with CD Projekt, we referenced a retro punk aesthetic that alludes to the attitude and energy of the game.

“Unveiled at E3 2018, we look forward to a 2019 release.”

CD Projekt RED have already confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be appearing at E3 2019.

Could it possibly be targeting a late 2019 release date on PS4 and Xbox One?

The news comes after Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED sent a special message to fans.

To celebrate the studio’s 2077th tweet, CD Projekt decided to go off brand and thank fans ahead of the Cyberpunk release date.

“This is our 2077th tweet and we think you’d agree that it’s too awesome of a number for us not to send you guys a special message!” reads the CD Projekt tweet.

“Normally we’d be in character, sending you funny gifs or pics of cybercats, but this time around, we wanted to say something off brand.

“Each day we’re here with you guys – celebrating Cyberpunk, sharing news, making new friends and giving you studio insider info.

“Staying directly in touch means we can better understand who you are and what you like about video games (including this particular one).

“This, in turn, enables us to talk with the dev team (which also read this account daily), so they have a good picture of what you expect.”
